Housefly (Musca domestica Linnaeus) pupae which had been treated with an insect growth regulator (CGA 72662) (at 0.25, 0.50 or 0.75 gm a.i.) or Azamethiphos (CGA 18809)(at 0.06, 0.09, 0.04, 0.19 gm a.i) when exposed to three hymenopterous parasites (i.e. Pachyerepoideus vindemiae (Rondani)), Spalangia endius Walker and Durhinus himalayanus (Westwood) showed nil or very low parasitism rates. On the other hand, housefly pupal which had been exposed to P. vindemiae, S. endius or D. himalayanus when treated with CGA 72662 or CGA 18809 exhibited high parasitism rates almost comparable to untreated fly pupae.
