An experiment on broiler chickens fed with concentrates containing wheat, rye and barley meals instead of maize meal and supplemented with Protosubtylin, Novozym 343, or DP-2885 was carried out. The highest feed conversion efficiency and weight gain in broiler chickens fed the concentrate based on maize meal compared with the other ones was observed. An advantageous effect of enzymic preparations on weight gain and feed conversion efficiency in broiler chickens fed with wheat, rye and barley meal concentrates was stated. An increase of protein and dry matter content as well as decrease of fat content in meat of broiler chickens given the Novozym supplemented diet was found
