Influence of crude fibre content in the alfalfa and clover meal on the fattening performance in pigs

An experiment on the pigs fed with a diet containing 5 or 10 per cent of fractionated or non fractionated meal of alfalfa and clover was carried out. The significant effect of fibre and protein content in the green meals on fattening performance of pigs was observed. The positive correlation between the diet clover and alfalfa meal content and the level of vitamin A in the pig liver was stated
