Evaluation of usefulness of some grass-killers for control of weeds [Elymus repens] in gladiolus cultivation

The selectivity of postemergence grass-killers for gladiolus plants was investigated. The herbicides: cycloxydim, haloxyfop-ethoxyethyl, fluazifop-P-butyl and quizalofop-ethyl were tested on plots previously treated with linuron. The total yield of corms obtained from all grass-killers combinations was equal to or greater than yield from the plots with hand control of weeds. The control of grass-weeds was good on all plots treated with herbicides
