Formation of some fertility elements of light soil incubated with addition of poultry dung

An acid brown soil in pots was treated with different doses of poultry dung and incubated for 180 days at room temperature. Increased content of the dung in soil resulted in intensified organic matter mineralization and in narrowing of the C/N ration. Application of the dung caused an increase of available P, K, and Mg forms in the soil, improved its reaction and sorption complex
