In the three year pot experiment calcium carbonate with and without phosphorus was applied. In the case when 2.7 t CaC03/ha was applied lower content of available copper in the soil (as compared to the combination without calcium) was found. Calcium in the dose of 10.8 t CaCO3/ha did not univocally affect the content of available copper in the soil. The amount of copper in the soil did not depend on liming against the background of phosphorus fertilization
