The sulphur content in the wool of sheep of Polish Merino, Polish lowland sheep, Wrzosowka, Polish mountain breeds and in the skins of these breeds of sheep was estimated. The greatest sulphur content in the wool and skin of Merino sheep was found. The wool and skin of Polish mountain sheep contained 2.45 and 0.499 percent of sulphur, respectively. A negative correlation between the sulphur content in wool and its thickness and on the other hand positive correlation for the skin were found
