Characteristics of quality in seeds storing fats

Two ways could be used to supply fats with desirable fatty acids composition. Conventional solution is the choice of oil plant for cultivation which are yielding the fats with proper characteristics. Another more modern solution, is to breed the plant for desirable fatty acids composition. Achievements in rapeseed and sunflower breeding can illustrate possibilities of the last method
