A contribution to the knowledge of Helminthofauna in the fish in the artificial lake near Backa Topola [Yugoslavia]

In 93 examined fish of various species from the man-made lake near Backa Topola (Yugoslavia) diagnosed were 32 species of monogenetic trematodes. Of these, Dactylogyrus achmerowil in Carp and Gyrodactylus paraminimus in Nose-carp have been for the first time detected in Yugoslavia. In addition to that, in the examined fish detected were two other species of adults forms and one larval of Diogenetic trematode, 6 species of Cestodes, out of which - Proteocephalus cernuae is new for Yugoslav parasitofauna. Besides these, detected were three other species of nematodes and 1 species of acantopcephalus.
