Hajdarevic, F. | Mutevelic, A. (Veterinarski fakultet, Sarajevo (Yugoslavia). Klinika za porodiljstvo)
The investigation of blood serum and urine of 66 clinically healthy highly pregnant cows, in good condition, proved the following: the mineral concentration remained within tolerant, that is, within physiological limits; fat substances (cholesterol, triglycerides) remained within physiological limits, as well, with some smaller or greater individual aberrations; total proteins showed a tendency to decrease; the bilirubin increase pointed out to the reduced function of liver regarding fat dystrophy of a lower degree; the concentration increase of the serum transaminase (SGOT and SGPT) pointed out to the metabolic disorders resulting in puerperal disorders, i.e. puerperal diseases.
