By using piling for shoot rooting of 4 hazelnut varieties, 30.1-42.1% of the total number of shoots were well-rooted shoots. By rooting green hazelnut cuttings using IBA and watering, 52.0-60% of well-rooted cuttings were achieved. The best results were achieved by using an IBA concentration of 5 g/l. By rooting mature hazelnut cuttings, using IBA, 8-28% of rooted cuttings were achieved and the best result was achieved with an IBA concentration 4 g/l. Rooting of green cuttings is the most productive and the easiest method of producing hazelnut seedlings.
