1988
Silic, S. ("UPI", Sarajevo (Yugoslavia). Poljoprivredni zavod)
This is a study on the adaptation of several potato varieties to mountain regions. Different weather conditions during the years of the study had an effect on a series of factors related to the varieties studied. The later term of variety ripeness is related to the late planting term. Little rainfall at the time of stolon formation results in the formation of a smaller number of tubers. In the group of early and mid-early varieties, the lowest yield fluctuations were exhibited by variety Vokal, which also gave the highest average yield, while among the late and mid-late varieties, it was Desiree. This study also covered the size of the potatoes, dry matter content and starch content.
