Ram semen extended with soybean milk was compared for its efficiency with egg yolk citrate and powdered skim milk. Diluted semen samples preserved at 5 deg. C were evaluated simultaneously and consecutively upto seven days for pH, motility, normal spermatozoa and live spermatozoa. There were altogether 36 replicates of the semen samples. The values for pH, motility, normal spermatozoa and five spermatozoa at 1st to 7th day of preservation range from 695, 50 629, 6541 to 1708% 8300 60 74.20% and 7587 to 28.87% for soybean milk; 6.90 to 6.17, 54.58 to 10.41%, 81.02 to 70.60 and 75.08 to 22.32% for egg yolk citrate and 6.82 6o 62.08 to 7.91%, 80.58 to 68.22% and 73.75 to 16.83% for powdered skim milk diluter over that of egg yolk citrate and powdered skim milk.
