Ecological growth model of the forest: some methodical and calibration problems

The author presented principles of construction of ecological growth model of tree, rendering possible to simulate changes of breast height diameter and height of trees being elements of stands with differentiated species and age structure. The growth equation, constructed for optimum biocenotic and site conditions, makes the increment of breast height diameter dependent on the present breast height diameter of tree, on the maximum dimension of tree and on the constant being a growth parameter specific for tree species. One took into account also the influence of some processes of demographical character (competition for light, nutrients, climatic competition on the run of the increment of breast height diameter and height of tree)
