Milk performance of F1 crossbred Polish Merino x Finnsheep ewes

An experiment on 20 F1 crossbred and on 30 Polish Merino pure breed ewes was carried out. Milk yield in 2, 4 and 6 week of lactation was estimated. The insignificant higher milk yield in crossbred ewes than in pure breed ones was stated. The higher fat content and the lower protein content in milk of F1 crossbred ewes was observed
