Effects of land-use patterns after sor tor kor no.1 land distribution:A case study of Mae Wong - Mae Pern forest in Nakhon Sawan Province [Thailand]

Land-use of this area was mostly for agricultural production purpose, which was only few in not utilized. Main cash crops were rice and corn which mainly were subsistence farming. The productivity was normally lower than provincial average record, but cash return was higher than cash capital since they farmed by their own family labor. Compared low land with upland farming, there were no significantly differences in Land-Use patterns. In low land farming rice was the main crop which produced higher productivity because of enough water supplying. The study of factors effecting to land utilizing was found that only the economic factor in term of agricultural income is effecting. The evaluation of the project was found that deforestation and forest invasion could not be dropped out by this present condition of the project. There was still forest invasion out of the "Sor Tor Kor No.1" area, but in decreasing rate of migration out of this national reserved forest.
