From the analysis of cost and returns per rai small family farms has the highest total cost per rai 19,262.94 baht following by joint venture farms 15,550.57 baht. For return per rai net profit is highest for joint venture farm 46,157.14 baht following by medium family farm 20,130.16 baht. Small family farm has the lowest net profit losing 6,707 baht per rai. Family and community farms has a decreasing return to scale 0.7401. Keeping other inputs constant, seed should be increased while family labour and hired labour should be reduced. Partnership and joint venture with Malaysian has an increasing return to scale 1.6594. Keeping other inputs constant, seed and hired labour should be increased and family labour should be reduced. Joint venture farm has the highest net profit and increasing return to scale.
