Metabolic profile of gilts - F1 generation of White Improved x White Meat crossbreds based on different average daily gains during rearing found in our own performance test was evaluated with following results: 1. Metabolic profile values of gilts pointed out their good health status. 2. Gilts having the average daily gain up to 0.450 kg tended to decrease metabolic profile indices, i.e. calcium, glucose and total proteins. 3. Gilts having the gain up to 0.450 kg after transfer to commercial breeding during four years recorded 50 to 54.3 % culling, while those having gain above 0.450 kg only 40 to 40.7 %. Increasing gains resulted in decreasing the percentage of culling gilts after the first litter.
