1989
Mahmoud, A.M.
This research attemps to study the effect of using different levels of calcium (1.0%, 2.0% and 3.0%) and different levels of inorganic sulfur (anhydrous sodium sulfate 0%, 0.45% and 0.90% in the diet on copper dynamic in broiler chicks. It was concluded that the supplementation of up to 0.90% sodium sulfate in the diet containing 1.0% and 2.0% but not 3.0% calcium increased the body weight and feed consumption. Supplementation of 0.45% and 0.9% of sodium sulfate with dietary levels of 1.0% and 2.0% but not with 3.0, calcium caused significant increase in body weight gain, feed consumption and bone ash weight, while the supplementation of calcium alone in diet did not show such results
