The efficacy of prochloraz at different concentrations was tested in comparison with benomyl. Artificially inoculated tulip bulbs were soaked for 15 or 30 minutes or dusted in fungicides prior to planting into the field. The percentage of affected clones by Fusarium basal rot was determined at lifting time and on bulbs one week later. Addition of captan or captafol to benomyl decreased severity of infection about 10 percent. The effectiveness of prochloraz was related with its concentration
