Effect of dietary beta-carotene and A, D3 and E vitamins on mineral metabolism in calves

An experiment on calves fed a diet supplemented by a carrot meal or Rovimix (beta-carotene) and A, D3 and E vitamins was carried out. The significant higher blood calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and ceruloplasmin levels in experimental calves than in control ones was stated
