Value of succession after winter wheat cultivated in crop rotation with an increasing content of cereals

Nitrogen fertilization was the most important factor influencing the winter wheat residues. They were poor in nitrogen and their mass was not large enough to cover the losses of organic matter of the soil in crop rotations with 75 and 100 percent of cereals. The soil physical properties were stable features of the soil independent on content of cereals in crop rotation
