Pla Soi Khoa or Jullian's mud carp, Cirrhinus jullieni Sauvage, one of the economically important fish in Ubolratana Reservoir, the commonest and most wildly distribution cyprinids in the river, canal, swamps and reservoir of Thailand. Spaw ing period of the fish estimated from GSI. showed its peak between June and September. The fishes were collected from Pong river near by spawining ground and raised in pond for a week and then injected with pituitarie gland of common carp and human chorionic gonadotrophin, ovulation was received and let the eggs fertilized by natural. Fertilized eggs were incubated in hatching funnel, and hatched out with in 14-16 hours at water temperature 28 deg. celsius., yolk sacs were absorbed by two days. Findly minced hard boiled egg yolk had been fed to the fries with two times per day for two days before transfer to nursery ponds.
