Kibria, S.S. | Islam, M.R. | Saha, C.K.
An experiment was conducted to prepare the sugar cane top silage with addition of three levels of urea (0, 1.0 and 2.0 parts by weight), wheat bran (2%) and common salt (2%). A smell of ammonia was found in one part and two parts urea added silage. The pH value was found to range from 4.84 to 5.22. No significant differences for organic matter were found in the treatment but significantly high crude protein were obtained in T1 and T2 (p 0.01).
