Twelve cooperators (six landless and six marginal) farmers were provided with 24 pairs of pigeon (two pairs each) and twelve non-cooperator farmers (six landless and six marginal) were used as control. The average number of Squab obtained by the cooperator landless and marginal farmers were 18 and 19 respectively, whereas it was only 7 in the case of marginal non-cooperator. The cooperator landless and marginal farmers and non-cooperator marginal farmers have received Tk. 238/-, 238/- and Tk. 68/- respectively by selling of squab. The highest benefit cost ratio (4.53) was observed among the marginal cooperator and the lowest benefit cost ratio (4.01) was found from the pigeon of the landless cooperator farmers. Pigeon rearing was found profitable at the farming system research site by the landless and marginal farmers.
