A test was carried out on 45 piglets to determine the effects of glandless cottonseed meal and the protein content on the growth of fattening pigs. Results show that glandless cottonseed meal can totally replace, if supplemented with lysine, soyabean in pig feed without affecting the performance of the pig. The protein content of 22 per cent for fattening pigs, without supplementation, was found to be inadequate in insuring effective growth in the animals.
