Effect of humic acid, fulvic acid and NPK fertilizers on the quality of winter wheat varieties on chemical-free soil
1993
Pollhamer, E.
In a drilled trial in county Vas (Hungary); the quality of 7 home and 7 forcing wheat varieties was tested by complex method, in three agrotechnical treatments. In the humic acid (I.) treatment the complex quality index (CQI) of the varieties was 129, in the fulvic acid (II.) treatment 145 and in the NPK fertilization treatment (III.) the CQI value was 173. That means, neither the humic acid, nor the fulvic acid treatment reached the quality improving effect of the NPK-fertilizer. On the influence of the fulvic acid treatment a lower quality improvement ensued. Therefore the view of the author is that by applying a higher dose of fulvic acid and a decreased quantity of fertilizer, a more chemical-free wheat production may be promoted without a decline in quality
