An experiment was conducted on using the leaves of pegagan (Centella asiatica) and papaya (Carica papaya) as the constituent of broiler ration. The aim of this experiment was to diversify poultry nutrition. The nutrient content of pegagan was rather high according to the following data : 14.2 percent of Ca; 2.16 percent of P and sufficient content of vitamin B. On the other hand, the nutrient content of papaya leaves meal were 27.4 percent of crude protein, 10 percent of other extract, 2.3 percent of Ca and 2.36 percent of P. There were 80 unsex broiler involved in this experiment. The Completely Randomized Design with five replications (each treatment) was applied in this experiment. The treatments were P1 (ration without pegagan and papaya leaves ), P2 (ration containing three percent of pegagan), and P3 (ration containing six percent of pegagan), P4 (ration containing three percent of papaya leaves), and P5 (ration containing six percent of papaya leaves). The experiment was executed during eight weeks. The experiment resulted that feeding papaya leaves up to six percent of ration would decrease both absolute growth rate and carcass weight. Feeding pegagan up to six percent of the ration had no effect on both absolute growth rate and carcass weight.
