Effect of application rate of limestone, phosphate, and 2,4-D on seed weight and protein content was studied in a field experiment on Andosol soil at Sarce, Aceh Province. The experiment was conducted from August to November 1988. Rates of limestone application was 0; 1.5; and 3.0 to/ha, phosphate application was 0, 75, and 150 kg TSP/ha, and 2,4-D application was 0, 2, and 4 ppm. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications. Result of experiment suggested that all three factors affected seed weight and protein content. The best treatment combination was 3 ton/ha limestone, 75 kg/ha TSP and 2 ppm 2,4-D.
