Boerhendhy, I. (Pusat Penelitian Perkebunan, Sembawa (Indonesia))
Research on the correlation between anatomical, physiological, and morphological properties of crown budded rubber trees with yield has been carried out since 1977 in Research Institute for Estate Crop of Sembawa. The experiment was conducted using a Randomized Block Design with four replications. The relationship between properties of anatomical, physiological, and morphological with yield of some rubber clones were analyzed statistically. The result showed that girth, thickness of the renewal bark, DRC, number of latex vessel of trunk and crown, and canopy were highly correlated with yield with correlation coefficient as follow : 0,754*, 0,842*, 0,624*, 0,680*, and 0,728*. Number of latex vessels, diameter of latex vessels of crown, and trunk showed weak correlation with the production.
