Limnological parameters and potential fish yield in Kigera reservoir was studied over a period of five months. The biotic parameters studied were zooplankton, chlorophyll and an estimate of potiential fish yield. Correlation analysis showed a strong positive correlation (r=1) between conductivity and potential fish yield. Values of most of the parameters were not high as a result of the depth of the reservoir and because run offs constitute the only source of nutrient loading
