The objective of the activities of the Institute of Plant Protection is the pursuance of scientific developmental and dissemination works in the field of plant protection. The aim of these works is to create scientific bases and practical recommendations for modern protection of crops in Poland. The performed investigations chiefly concern working out of protection programmes of crops against new dangers, actualization of recommended protection programmes, limitation of undesirable consequences of using plant protection chemicals and effective, prompt and correct implication of plant protection treatments
