In the experiment an estimation of the activity in vitro of 28 fungicides and 2 antibiotics in relation to: Ascochyta fabae, Botrytis cinerea, B. fabae, Fusarium avenaceum and F. oxysporum was made. The criterion of estimation of the preparations activity was the size of the area of pathogene growth inhibition (diameter in mm) on the PDA ground. It was proved that the tested pathogens were different one from another in sensitivity and the variation of reaction on the applied fungicides. The most resistant species, showing the greatest variation of the reaction was B. fabae. The groups of fungicides, and particular preparations within them, were also characterised by different activity
