An experiment on 300 pigs in 8-12 weeks of life fed grower diet containing 50 percent of soybean meal substituted by field peas, faba beans or blue lupine beans was carried out. No significant effect of protein source on the feed intake, weight gain and feed conversion efficiency in ad libitum fed pigs was stated
