The effect of low and high levels of magnesium in half-synthetic caseinegelatin-glucose ration on copper, manganese, zinc, and ferrum metabolism in chickens up to 28 days old was studied. It has been found that lack of magnesium in feed mixtures (50, 100 and 250 mg/kg) causes redistribution of microelements in chickens' tissues. The level of magnesium in the ration being 500-4000 mg/kg, the content of microelements in poultry organs and tissues remains without change.
