The copper factory pollution resulted in the occurrence of zinc and nickel in soil, feeds, internal organs, muscles and bones of bull calves reared and fattened in barns (the 1st group) and partly reared in the pasture and fattened in stables (the 2nd group). Concentration of the observed elements in all cases highly overtopped the usual contents recorded in the literature. In all grassland, meat and bone samples, the exceeding levels of contaminants were found. Permanent pastures near the factory gave the output of contaminated feed for cattle. The local agricultural products are to be tested and submitted for the hygienic control.
