The experiment conducted drug trials of sheep nasal bot on sheep and goats. Group I, Benzene Hexachloride 2 % instillated 2 ml per nostril. Group II, Rafoxanide was given in the dosage of 8 and 16 mg/kg. body weight orally. Group III, Neguvon was given 100 mg/kg. body weight orally. Group IV, Neguvon 10 G. mixed well with Asuntol 2 G. in 100 ml. distilled water instillated 4 and 5 ml per nostril in sheep and goat respectively. Group V, Neguvon was given 100 mg/kg. body weight orally and goat. Group VI was the untreated control. The results were based on the evaluation of postmortem animals and then the examination of nasal cavities, frontal sinuses, brains and other related organs. The number of living and dead Oestrus ovis maggots were counted. In these experiment, 15 sheep and 3 goats were used. It seems that Rafoxanide both 8, 16 mg/kg. and Neguvon 100 mg/kg. body weight orally gave the better results.
