Study on propagation of P. nuntia brevicirris was carried out at Sriracha Fisheries Research Station from October 1984 to October 1985. The worms were collected from sandy beach at Ban Rong Po, Chonburi. Atokys were kept in the sand in plastic baskets in culture tank and fed with fish meat every two days. After 40-50 days, some of them developed to epitokys. Epitokys from the beach were kept in the pieces of sponge in plastic basket in aquarium and fed with green algae specie of Enteromorpha within 1-15, the ripe worms would swim out from the basket and spawning in night time to early morning. The ripe worms swam around in the aquarium for several mins. When they met together male and female would swim in circle around each other and then released their seed. Spawning took about 2 mins and the spawner would die later. For study on development of larvae, artificial fertilization also has been done. The selected ripe worms were placed in beakers separated male and female and cut across the bodies allowing eggs and sperm to escape. After washing the eggs with clean sea water, 5-10 drops of sea water were added to container
