The influence of IBA concentration, season and shout part on rooting of Wisteria Sinensis semi-Hardwood cuttings
1985
Chatzikosmas, D. (Ministry of Agriculture, Athens (Greece))
The effect of different IBA concentrations on the rooting response of Wisteria sinensis (Glycine) two types of semi-hardwood cutting ("base's" and "top's" cuttings), was investigated in a two seasons (Summer and Autumn) experiment. There was difference between two types of cuttings on rooting percentage, root fresh weight, root number per rooted cutting and root length in both cultivars. The best results was with the "base" cuttings. The best however season was in Autumn in both types of cuttings. IBA concentration at 4000 ppm in "base" cuttings, that season increased rooting percentage in 86.6% and gave us an abundant rooting system.
