Estimating the Effectivness of Supply Policies in Cereals

Farm and national income are significantly determined by the level of agricultural output. Policy makers are extremely interested in indentifying policy measures affecting the output growth. The assignment of this paper is to estimate the effectiveness of various policies aiming at an agricultural output increase. A conceptual framwork was build up and ultimately was utilized to assess the sources of productivity in cereals. Crop yield has been proven the most effective source of output growth in cereals for a twenty years period (1965-1984).
