Economic problems of peasant farms: Financial conditions for the development of peasant farms in Latvia

The financial conditions for the development of private peasant farms are analysed. Their importance is stressed. The principles of taxation and crediting are discussed. The necessity to develop cooperation between farms as well as their commercial and mortgage activities is pointed out.
