Underground silos on farms

The author discusses the technologies of cattle feed preparation in Latvia depending on the present economic situation. As the most adequate and the cheapest way for cattle feed preservation underground silos (bunkers) are recommended. The size and the cross section of the silos are presented. The choice of their location is discussed, the advantages of the underground silos are pointed out
