Populations of dominant fish species in the Narew River under human impacts

Roach, pike and ide populations were analysed in a 373 km long stretch of Narew River, North-East Poland. These three dominants, which differ in their biology, were sampled at 87 sites. Pike was absent or very rare at the most polluted sites
