Investigation on back flow in modified milking units

The experiments were conducted under laboratory conditions on eight different modified milking units cooperating with bucket and high line pipeline installation. The measure of the back flow was its momentum. The time of back flow was measured in cycle of teat cup work. The measurement was made in the short milk tube. The analysis of the results shows, that the best effect of reduced back flow was obtained by modification of units with gum value, without holes in milk chambers of the claw and the short milk tube buffer chamber, but to a lesser degree
