Evaluation of peach cultivars and selected clones

In 1985-92 productive value of 9 peach cultivars and 4 selected clones was estimated. In the course of the experiment during 2 severe winters (1986/87 and 1990/91) all flower buds were frozen. The best survival showed Kijowska Wczesna. The most prolific appeared to be: Reliance, Kijowska Wczesna and clone no. 571. The largest fruit bore: clone no. 1036, Golden Jubilee, Cresthaven and Redhaven but the smallest ones: Kijowska Wczesna and Malinski's seedling
