State of health and yielding of tibo faba bean in the south-eastern Poland

Two varieties of faba bean - Nadwislanski and Tibo - were tested in the field and laboratory conditions to their susceptibility to the most dangerous fungus: Ascochyta fabae, Botrytis spp., and Uromyces fabae. Tibo faba bean variety was much more sensitive to all these diseases than Nadwislanski variety. The using of Sportak 45 EC reduced chocolate spot, Benlate was more effective to the rust. In these plots where the fungicides were applied the plants were healthy and gave the higher yields
