1994
Negrescu, A. (Statiunea Centrala de Cercetari pentru Cultura Plantelor pe Nisipuri, Dabuleni (Romania))
The quince-trees grow well on sandy soils of the southern Romania. Fertilization influences in a favourable way the growth and fruiting of the quince-trees cultivated on sandy soils. During the first 5 years of fruiting, the highest yield of fruit was obtained in case of quince-trees fertilized with N100 P50K100 (38.5 t/ha). A higher dose of fertilizers does not give a better yield.
