Deportment of some winter wheat varieties under the ecological conditions of Oltenia [Romania]

The interaction genotype-cropping environment in winter wheat, a culture of great importance in the Oltenia zone was investigated. The variety became the most dynamic factor of the technology, and its comportment depends on climate conditions and on the frequency of pathogens. Among the 200 studied varieties, the paper stops at 12, 6 of which are noteworthy for their genetic value and adapting capacity, namely: Flamura 85, Simnic 30, Lovrin 34 and Fundulea 4. Due to the sensibility to diseases, the varieties Fundulea 133 and Flamura 80 will be excluded. The varieties noticed by their resistance to stress will be used as a source of germoplasma to improve winter wheat
