Quantitative and qualitative aspects of amylases endogenous inhibitor in hexaploid wheat
1994
Hagima, I. (Institutul de Cercetari pentru Cereale si Plante Tehnice, Fundulea (Romania))
The investigations were performed on 18 hexaploids wheat genotypes obtained from Research Institute for Cereals and Industrial Crops - Fundulea. Alpha-amylase and endogenous inhibitor from quantitative point of view were analyzed by two methods: first - radial diffusion in agarose gel and second - colorimetric method. These two methods are linearly related. The electrophoretic study of total beta-amylase isozymes classified the 18 analyzed genotypes by two enzymogram types: one type with two unequal isozymes as intensity activity and another type with three equal isozymes
