Optimum time of harvest for chilli seed production

Seed yield and quality of chilli as affected by time of harvest were studied. Fresh weight of fruit, flesh: seed were higher at the 9th, 11th, 13th week after planting. While seed size and yield/1 Kg. of fruit increased at the 15th, 17th week after planting. Therefore the optimum time of harvest for chilli seed production was the 15th, 17th week after planting.
